<p>The fact is, I wrote that sentence for Antonia a little too fast. Yes, the Dead Hills were already there and Kyle Bayle carved out a chunk of them to create his doomed kingdom. This was early in the age of Turmoil just as Vhalen had indicated. I&#39;ll fix up that last sentence so it matches the timeline, and you&#39;ll get to hear more of his story eventually.</p>

<p>Strange events are afoot in Qeynos and Freeport! Intrepid adventurers should seek out Royal Librarian Brinn in Qeynos Harbor and Sir Tallen Yevix in West Freeport.</p>
<p>The quest lines start with &#8220;Tinmizer&#39;s Magnificent Messenger&#8221; on the Freeport side and &#8220;A Lost&nbsp; Library Book&#8221; on the Qeynos side. They&#39;re heavily lore-focused, so watch out for spoilers on this thread!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The coffin might also play a role in making the adds get caught in that infinite loop; anything that makes them break and reset by moving them out of the geometry, moving them out of their leash radius or messing with their hate list might cause this to happen. So class abilities like fear which sends them running off to a corner of the room, or feign death which can make them reset immediately, might have contributed to triggering the bug in some cases.</p>
<p>But anyway, the bug was forwarded to far more capable hands than my own, and I&#39;m pleased to report that I&#39;ve tested the fix internally and it should go out with the next hotfix! <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p>

<div>Everyone: I can&#39;t say exactly when this will get fixed but here&#39;s what seems to be happening:</div>
<div>1) The tank pulls Mayong up against the wall.</div>
<div>2) A semi-random number of seconds later, Mayong summons a couple vampiric protectors.</div>
<div>3)Since the vampiric protectors spawn directly in front of and behind Mayong, one of them is outside of the world.</div>
<div>4) Wait a half second or so. The vampire that&#39;s outside of the world breaks his encounter because it&#39;s bugged.</div>
<div>5) The anti-exploit script on this encounter makes it spawn a new one at the same location.</div>
<div>6) TPK. Infinite loop of vampire spawns.&nbsp; <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/908627bbe5e9f6a080977db8c365caff.gif" border="0" /></div>

<div>Now from the above description you should glean the following:</div>
<div>It is a very bad idea to fight Mayong up against a wall right now.</div>
<div>There should be no problem if you fight him in the middle of the room.</div>

<div>So in summary: <strong><em><span >Please do not fight Mayong up against the wall until this is fixed! Take him down in the middle of the room instead.</span></em></strong></div>
