Just saying no reason whatso ever to make seasonal fluff thing require anything but solo. I mean Heck we gona make a raid instance for the next brew day, that only allows 1 instanced to be run per day per server.
While some might agree with you we are trying to bring something for all to enjoy and that includes those that like to group up and do things. You will notice that these “group” instances are much easier than normal group content which I agree should be standard for holiday events. We also introduced more solo content with this years events while adding to the small group / heroic content.
