EQ2GU.com (formally eq2goldrush.com) is a player run (Grump, from Butcherblock Server) Fan site for the massive multi-player online game known as EverQuest 2. Originally started as a news reader for myself and a couple of friends, I decided to make it public. The site sees about 1k hits a day mainly from search engine traffic.

• EQ2GU excerpts a small amount of text or images from the RSS Feed or Main page of a website for the purpose of identifying certain websites so that it’s users may review and organize information about websites.

• EQ2GU links to some websites via a low resolution image(s) of the article. The lower resolution image(s) acts as a visual navigational aid for users and cannot be viewed at a high enough resolution to act as a substitute for the original content.

• EQ2GU’s intention is not to steal your content, the site will never post your full article, providing only the title and a teaser of information. The title and comments sections post directly to your main article.
